The police sergeant, Lukmon Akanbi, who shot one Ramon Babatunde Adeniji, who was returning from Wizkid concert, has been arrested and dismissed by the Nigeria Police Force. His dismissal, Lagos State Police Command spokesman Bala Elkana said, came after he was subjected to Orderly Room Trials, an internal disciplinary procedure in the police. “The Sergeant was found guilty of all the charges and awarded punishment of dismissal from the Nigeria Police. Elkana said a fracas ensued between the police officer, who was on patrol in the area, and Adeniji. Witnesses reportedly rushed Adeniji to the Naval Dockyard Hospital where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.
